Pinington Donate Children’s Waiting Area & Treatment Room
As part of a refurbishment scheme within the Emergency Determent at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary Pinington Limited has made the generous donation to provide a new waiting area and interior design and fit out within a 3 bed paediatric treatment area.
The donation provides a inclusive and interactive waiting area for children who are attending the emergency department along with decorative wall graphics within the treatment room to provide a more relaxing and calm environment for any treatments or procedures that are required.
Tom Pinington Managing Director said on the donation “We are so pleased to be in a position to give something back to our local NHS Trust. Over the last 4-5 years we have undertaken some flagship projects for Morecambe Bay NHS and we really welcome and appreciate the working relationship we have built up and felt this was a way to give something back. With the works being within the paediatric section of the Emergency Department it really was an opportunity we could not miss and have been overwhelmed with the support and thanks from staff and the public to the donation”.
The Capital Services Department for the Morecambe Bay NHS Trust stated on Twitter “A huge thank you to @PiningtonLtd for donating the funds to add the finishing touches to our recent refurbishment of the Children’s Assessment and Waiting Area in Minors ED RLI. We love it! @UHMBT @aaroncumminsNHS @ed_rli @gillingdod #DesignTeam”
