Pinington help create the NHS Willow Suite 💙

We recently completed the NHS Bereavement Willow Suite at the Maternity Unit in the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

As part of our charitable commitment to the project, we designed and installed a new decking and seating area for the outdoor Willow Suite. This tranquil space has been created to provide families with a peaceful environment where they can grieve, reflect, and spend precious moments together in privacy.

The Willow Suite offers compassionate support to families experiencing the heart breaking loss of a baby, and the outdoor area extends that care by providing a calming place away from the clinical setting.

We are immensely proud to have contributed to this meaningful project and would like to thank everyone for their hard work, dedication, and professionalism while working within the live hospital environment.

Your efforts have helped create a lasting space of comfort and reflection for families during difficult times.

Since then, we have always understood how important access to this garden can be. So many bereaved families find comfort in sitting quietly outside, looking at the sky and remembering their baby.”
