All construction materials and methods were implemented in accordance with Passivhaus House Institute guidelines, ensuring an ultra-low energy consumption building with excellent indoor comfort.

Passivhaus Houses work by minimising heating and cooling needs through insulation, airtight construction, and heat recovery ventilation, retaining internal heat and recycling warmth from outgoing air to maintain a consistently comfortable indoor environment.

This project provided a rewarding and educational experience for the team, showcasing Pinington’s capability in delivering sustainable construction solutions and adapting to new construction techniques and methods.

A fantastic achievement by all at Pinington. πŸ’š
