Pinington were appointed as main building contractor to convert this grade 2 listed former assisted living care home into luxury high end apartments.
Back in 2005 Pinington finished the original refurbishment of this property for the Abbeyfield Society into 18nr assisted living flats therefore had a vast array of knowledge of the building itself.
The works on site consisted of major structural alterations to enable the new 10nr 2 bedroom apartment design to be achieved. Once the structural alterations were complete and full M&E fit out could commence along with new stud walls, fire stopping and extensive repairs to existing retained fixtures and fittings. Then a full interior fit out commenced including high end materials and furnishings to all new apartments along with a extensive external works and landscaping package to leave a bespoke and luxury product for the new prospective homeowners.
Pinington were appointed by the charity trust to carry out a comprehensive programme of improvements across the almshouses.
