Team Pinington Trail Run for NW Air Ambulance ❤️

Team Pinington is raising money for the North West Air Ambulance in memory of Rachel Pinington, who sadly passed away on 19th March after collapsing suddenly at home in Lancaster, aged just 50 😔

The emergency services did everything they could to save her. The compassion and care shown by the Air Ambulance team will never be forgotten.

Rachel was someone who faced incredible challenges in life, living with mental illness for many years. But that never defined her. She loved family holidays, played a role in raising her nephews, and had a lifelong passion for sport.

She was a dedicated Morecambe FC supporter, following them from Christie Park all the way to Wembley and into the Football League. In her younger years, she was also an extremely talented goalkeeper, representing both Ripley St. Thomas School and Lancaster Lionesses.

To honour her memory, family members will be taking part in the Montane Ullswater Way Trail 20 Run — a place filled with special memories from her childhood ❤️
