The most recent phase of the works at West Kirby Grammar School was to undertake an existing toilet renovation that comprised of refurbishing existing toilet and locker areas into full compliant toilet and had washing facilities incorporating accessible and disabled facilities.
The works involved removal of all existing finishes, adaptations to walls and floors, new drainage trenches full M&E fit out, vinyl flooring, wall cladding, suspended ceiling and full washroom cubicle and vanity units. The project spanned a 14 week period across 2 phases working around a live school environment with little to no impact on the schools operation and running.
The scheme as with other schemes undertaken at the school previously was a real success and the relationship built between the Pinington site team and the school management team really has helped to produce another quality project at the school with hopefully more to come in the future.
