Pinington were appointed as main contractor to undertake the full strip out and refit of 4nr science laboratories and 2nr prep rooms.
The works included strip out of all existing fixtures and fittings along with M&E services with new flooring, suspended ceilings, decoration, fully re-wired electrically with new LED lighting, Gas pipework and vulcathene science lab drainage. The science laboratory furniture was then supplied and fitted by Klick Technology.
The works were undertaken over a 14 week period with the first 7 weeks of the project working around the half term of school and were complete on time and on budget with the client very happy at the end of the project.
Pinington were appointed to complete a complex and challenging refurbishment to a full teaching block at Barrow Sixth Form College.
