Pinington were appointed as part of our ongoing measured term contract with Morecambe Bay NHS Trust to transform an existing ward into the new Pre-Operative Assessment Unit at Furness General Hospital.
The works comprised of demolition of existing walls and removal of all fixtures and fittings, formation of new consulting, staff and treatment rooms with new stud partition walls, plastering to all new and existing walls, new floorings, ceilings and decoration to all areas. The fit out works included new cubicle tracks, window blinds, waist high corridor handrails / crashrails, new doors, new IPS units and fitting of client supplied items.
The mechanical and electrical works comprised of a new mains panel and infrastructure wiring, data installation, lighting and emergency lighting installation, door access controls, air handling plant and ventilation system, hot and cold water services and alterations and additions to the existing heating system.
Pinington were appointed by the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust to provide the new Maternity Triage Unit and The Willow (Bereavement) Suite.
