Pinington were appointed to undertake a full fit out of an existing open plan industrial warehouse space to form a new workshop, office and distribution hub form Group Company in Morecambe.
The works consisted of a removal of all existing fixtures and fittings along with demolition of existing walls. Works then progressed into the steel and timber frame structures to form a new first floor mezzanine floor with a bespoke entrance area, staff welfare and breakout space, workshop, goods in and goods out delivery bays and offices and meeting rooms.
The fit out works included hard and soft furnishings to the office and meeting room areas, industrial racking to the good in areas, new anti-static workbenches to the workshop and shop floor area and specific racking and storage to the goods out area.
The extensive M&E fit out included new mains supplies, sprinkler systems, various metal detectors and security systems and a full new ventilation system to server all areas of the building.
The transformation from a previously open plan, bland and empty industrial unit to the facility that has been provided was nothing short of miraculous and a real credit to everyone involved in the scheme.
