Levens Hall is a Grade 1 listed building with 14th century origins located on the south bank of the River Kent.

Pinington were appointed main contractor to construct a single storey café building. The construction comprised of steel frame with green oak roof trusses, on deep fill concrete foundations with a concrete beam and block floor. The external walls were insulated cavity blockwork faced in natural stone walling with dressed sandstone surround to the new oak windows, door and glazed screens. The roof finish was a natural Burlington slate with patent glazing panels. The internal fit out included a new catering kitchen, shop / café fit out and fully fitted café furniture.

The M&E installations included hot water and underfloor heating taken from the exiting previously installed biomass boiler, new electrical installation including fire alarm, lighting and emergency lighting, and fitting of catering appliances and fittings.

The external works included stone boundary walls, hard and soft landscaping, natural stone paving’s, drainage installations and installation of a new fountain.
