Hillcroft Secure Planning Approval for Galgate Development
Our client Hillcroft Nursing Homes has secured planning permission for a development at Galgate, Lancaster after a long drawn out planning process.
The development at Ellel House, a grade ii listed building and surrounding land, consists of five assisted living apartments built within the existing building a 30 bed nursing home and 8 assisted living bungalows together with all associated external parking and garden areas.
Work commenced early December on the existing building by erecting a full scaffold cover to allow work to commence to refurbish the building and get it water tight to prevent further decay.
The project is due for completion December 11 / January 12.
